So basically, this is another tool where you can scale up or scale down as you see fit.

The Google Keyword Planner is a free keyword research tool offered by in the Google Ads interface.
Now keep in mind, that you do not have to run any ads to access this free tool.
But you do need to sign up for a Google Ads account.
The tool’s whole aim is to help you choose the right keywords.
This is very important because choosing the right keywords can get you (and your ads) in front of the right customers.
With the Google Ad Keyword Planner, you can discover new keywords related to your products & services. You can also get search volumes and forecasts once you get your keywords.
This keyword research tool is sure to help you to find keywords that are most related to your business.
So this is a great free keyword research tool.
My team and I use it a lot – absolutely free.
And it’s coming straight from the source: the #1 search engine in the world –> Google.
So basically, you just enter a search term into our products or services closely related to your business.
Another cool this is that you can enter your site to focus in even more on related keywords asit pertains to your website.
And when you’re ready, just press enter and it will generate a list of targeted keywords for you.
You can filter your list by geographical region, average monthly searches, competition or what have you.
Do keep in mind that the Google Keyword Planner is really designed for people Google ads paid search campaigns.
But make no mistake, this is still valuable data for SEO purposes.
Because oftentimes, paid search and organic search data tends to overlap.

5. Google Trends – SEO Keyword Research Tools
Google Trends is a free trends and keyword research tool that is openly available to the public – no signup required.
So there’s no excuse why you shouldn’t be using it.
This is more juicy data coming straight from the Mega Source: GOOGLE!
The Google Trends research tool will help you to explore what the world is searching for.
You can enter a search term or a topic and then tell it’ll tell you all about if it’s trending up, down sideways, or whatever you want to know.
On the homepage, it usually shows global trends and the latest stories and insights recently trending around the world.
But you can get lost in that if it’s not relevant to your niche, so you’ll probably want to input a search term related to your niche – unless you’re trying to explore some new niches to tap into.
You can target and filter your data by geographical region, timeframe such as “in the past 12 months”, category, or what have you. It’s your choice.
Now, keep in mind, the numbers provided are not search volume. A lot of people think it’s search volume, but it’s not. It’s simply a measurement of how popular that keyword is on a scale of 0 to 100. (click the question mark beside each section for further explanation)
Now, if you scroll down the results page a bit more, it’s going to show you some different sub-regions that are showing the most interest in your search term(s). So you can even zero in on a data even more.
Also, it’s going to show you related topics to your keyword – as well as related queries.
